🚀 Expectation of the role:

As a QA Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of Grip’s software offering is maintained at the highest level for our clients and event attendees.

The role will involve working closely with colleagues in Engineering and Business teams to test the various software features used in a wide variety of professional events both in-person and online.

🚀 Core Responsibilities:

1. Create test plans alongside product development for Grip’s web and API offerings
2. Create test plans for client-specific features and liaise with internal stakeholders about the client’s requirements on features pre and post-development
3. Plan, execute and monitor the inspection and testing of the incoming and outgoing product features to confirm quality conformance to specs and acceptance criteria
4. Execute and maintain test plans as part of product delivery. Plans should be reproducible and auditable
5. Work with colleagues to diagnose user reports, feedback and bugs and feed the needed developments into the technical team together with the Product Manager

🚀 Experience and Skills:

1. Strong verbal and written communications skills with the unique ability to communicate complicated topics clearly to technical and non-technical team members
2. Ability to understand issues quickly, think logically and break down requirements into testable units
3. Bonus points:
4. Technical first degree or equivalent practical experience in software testing
5. Experience in both: functional and non-functional testing
6. Experience in using test management tools
7. Experience in using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Qase
